1 ROYAL AIR FORCES ASSOCCIATION_(SWINDOMBRANCH CLUB) CONDITIONS OF HIRING OF TRENCHARD HALL FOR PRIVATE FUNCTIONS 1. Only Members of Royal Air Forces Association Branch Club (Swindon Branch) can hire the Trenchard Hall. They must be present at the function. 2. Only the Trenchard Hall (large dance hall) is available for private functions. This is not available on SUNDAY evenings. The Branch Club Committee may make the Lancaster 'Lounge available for formal meetings of like organizations. 4. 18'h BIRTHDAY PARTIES ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. 5. Hire charges are as follows:
TO COMPLY WITH THE LICENSING LAWS A LIST OF NAMES AND ADRESSES OF ALL GUESTS WHO ARE NOT MEMBERS OF THE CLUB MUST BE SUBMITTED TO A MEMBER OF THE BRANCH CLUB COMMITTEE. THIS WILL BE DISPLAYED ON THE NO TICE BOARD. A deposit of 50% of the hire charge is required with this application. The Hire Charge is non-refundable if the function is cancelled within 7 days of the event. Deposit will be refunded if application is unsuccessful. A Guest List is to be submitted to the Branch Club Committee and the remainder of Hire Charge is to be paid 14 days before the function. In addition a £100 damage limitation charge refundable after the function, assuming no damage to fixtures & premises. Outside Catering will not be permitted unless authorized by the Branch Club Committee. The Branch Club Committee cannot be held responsible for outside catering. FOOD THAT HAS NOT BEEN PREPARED ON CLUB PREMISES MAY NOT BE TAKEN INTO THE KITCHEN. The person(s) who have prepared the food take full responsibility for any subsequent health problems suffered by guests. DOOR SECURITY IS TO PROVIDED BY THE FUNCTION ORGANISERS 9. CHILDREN must remain with their parents or an adult and are not allowed in ether parts of Club Premises. 10. HIRERS, as Club Members are responsible for the behavior of themselves and their guests whilst on Club Premises. 11. Members and Guests MUST LEAVE THE PREMISES AT THE AGREED CLOSING TIME, OR AT THE REQUEST OF A MEMBER OF THE COMMITTEE. 12. ALL BRANCH CLUB BYLAWS ARE APPLICABLE TO ALL PERSONS ATTENDING ANY FUNCTION. 13. The Branch Club Committee reserves the right to refuse any application without giving reasons. 14. The Branch Club Committee will authorize a Bar Extension to midnight upon receipt of the completed application form provided and a fee of £25. 15. Should the member require a disco other than the Club Disco, a charge of £20 will be levied to cover the cost of dismantling, storing and reassembly of the equipment.
